If you are a fashionable kinda girl, like me, you like exploring new trends, right? 

The Wild West is actually one of the hottest trends of the season (from Chanel to the main-street retailers, which readily followed this trend with lots of denim, fringing, ponchos, aztec print knits, prairie skirts and blouses, brown leathers and, of course, cowboy boots).

Well, after buying my new (gorgeous) Zara printed leather booties in Barcelona, I thought they were perfect to try a "cowgirl chic" outfit, a little different from my usual go-to Fall-Winter looks, which are more urban/rock-chic, based on black accessories. I matched these booties with some denim skinnies and shirt plus a large rhinestone necklace (also by Zara) dressed over the collared shirt* et voilà ... I like to keep things clean and simple. 

Btw if you like this trend, you can find many interesting items at the Spanish Fast Fashion giant: ponchos, quilted bags, knits, fancy collar necklaces ...

It's (finally) spring! E' (finalmente) primavera!

I adore to buy shoes, but I hate buying shoes I won’t use … so I always try to reason with my heeled desires and buy right shoes that I’ll wear with confidence over and over again and won’t just fill, unused, my wardrobe closet…. So I was rather disappointed about being able to wear only a few times the pair of fab Casadei booties (4.7 in) I bought about three months ago, because they are in suede and I didn’t want the no-stop rain we had here in the North of Italy to stain their perfect shade of gray…  

So last Sunday, in order to celebrate this (finally) sunny springtime, I matched these booties with my spring mood and two of my new season buys: the JBrand shorts I talked you about and this floral 3.1 Philippe Lim shirt in silk. I find this shirt has class: it’s very temporary, and effortlessly chic, with a gentle floral print, a tender revival and very trendy this season also for shoes (if you like floral, picking some floral items could be a good idea to make your  wardrobe flavor spring :-)). I completed the outfit with a Moncler trench (easy)and some Wolford leggings. Do you like my outfit?

Adoro comprare le scarpe, ma detesto comprarle per poi non usarle… così cerco sempre di informarmi, ragionare e venire a patti sensati con i miei desideri da shoe addict in modo da scegliere delle scarpe che indosserò con soddisfazione più e più volte e che non finiranno inutilizzate e polverose ad ingombrare il mio armadio... vi ho già accennato alla mia idea di cost-per-use nel mio post dello scorso 2 aprile... Così, mi spiaceva aver indossato solo pochissime volte dei fantastici tronchetti di Casadei, tacco 12, che avevo comprato tre mesi fa...sono in camoscio in una bellissima tonalità di grigio e temevo di rovinarli con le piogge no stop che abbiamo avuto in questi ultimi mesi... :-(

Così domenica scorsa per festeggiare l’arrivo della primavera ed il ritorno del sole ho pensato di indossare i miei tronchetti con due dei miei nuovi acquisti primaverili: gli shorts di Jbrand di cui vi ho parlato nel mio post del 2 aprile ed una camicia in seta con stampa floreale della collezione SS13 3.1 Phillip Lim. Trovo che questa camicia sia molto chic, in modo naturale, senza nessuna ostentazione, con un taglio molto morbido e rilassato ed una stampa floreale molto bella (il floreale è un revival tenero di questa stagione, anche per le scarpe... se vi piace e non l’avete già fatto, l’acquisto di un capo od un accessorio con questo tipo di stampa, può essere una buona idea per rinnovare il vostro guardaroba...). Ho completato il mio outfit con un trench leggero di Moncler (ok, easy) e dei leggings coprenti di Wolford, verso sera è ancora fresco... vi piace il mio outfit?
