All-leather-and-sort-of is one of my favorite trend for this season... It's currently one of the hottest trends both for the high-end designers and mass market fast-fashion retailers*. In these pics you can see two leather (or better sort of) items I’m in love with: my Miu Miu high boots and these (cheap and chic) shorts by Tezenis (about 25 USD). I’m wearing them both in an all-black, rock version or with some silver/gold accessories to bright up the final look. And you, do you like this trend?

Abiti ed accessori in pelle od eco-pelle sono tra i miei preferiti in questa stagione. Come avrete notato questo trend è molto diffuso sia tra i marchi del lusso, che in quelli di fascia medio-bassa. Mi piace molto mixarli insieme per realizzare dei look in tutto-nero, molto rock, oppure abbinarli a degli accessori dai colori metallici (argento, oro, bronzo...) per illuminarli. Nelle foto due dei pezzi che mi piacciono di più: gli stivaloni alti di Miu Miu e questi shorts di eco-pelle di Tezenis (super-economici, 19 EUR, ma d’impatto). Niente male, no?

SS13 trend: maxi dress + high heels

One of the trend for this season is maxi dress + high heels (together with super mini and other lengths, fashion is really democratic now, so you are free to pick the style you prefer and that suits you best ...). If you like this style we can easily find many choices from your favorite designers and stores...




In the photos you can see an example of maxi dress by Asos I bought it online ( ASOS-Maxi-Dress-with-Low-Back , 50.87 USD) and wore in my last vacation together with my Jimmy Choo champagne Vita heels. <3

1) match your maxi dress with high heels, better if sparkling or golden for the evening (like the ones I’m wearing or the ones in my recent posts) and in particular if you are not very tall

2) if you want to get a diva and sexy effect choose a tight size to avoid a “pack effect” (be careful though that skin-tight dresses in viscose jersey like this Asos dress really follow and enhance your shapes but they are little forgiving... lumps and bumps could be clearly visible)

UGGs and glamorous and sexy high heels...What do they have in common? UGG e stiletti fascinosi e sexy..Sai cosa hanno in comune?

Do you know what some of the most glamorous and sexy high heels have in common with comfy UGG boots? If you already know the answer, you are a true fashionista J… if you don’t, but you are interested to learn about it, well… you are a true fashionista too… so it makes sense you read this post ;-)

The correct answer to my question is Ruthie Davis…

Ruthie Davis is one of the most interesting emerging shoe designer, according to me. She is an American woman creating magnificent shoes that are “decidedly sexy, distinctly Davis” with an“emphasis on silhouette, innovative materials and color”. Stars like Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Fergie, and Alicia Keys love her shoes. And it was Davis who revamped some years ago the UGG Australia brand, transforming the sleepy surfer boot into a fashion cult item. Also, “the same girl wearing UGGs on the weekends wears Ruthie Davis when she dresses up!” as Davis herself said…

Ruthie Davis è una stilista emergente, tra le più interessanti, a mio parere. E’ americana e le sue scarpe sono magnifiche e decisamente sexy ed originali, con un’enfasi sulla forma, l’utilizzo di materiali sofisticati ed innovativi ed un senso distintivo del colore. Le sue creazioni sono amate da star come Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Fergie ed Alicia Keys. E fu proprio Ruthie Davis a rilanciare qualche anno fa il marchio UGG Australia, trasformandolo in un brand di culto. E poi, come afferma la stessa Ruthie Davis in un'intervista "la stessa donna che usa le UGG nel weekend [o in situazioni casual, ndr.], ama indossare le Ruthie Davis quando si tira per uscire!"...
